Air Algérie Cargo Plane Lands in Morocco: Textile Shipment, Not Medical Aid

The landing of an Air Algérie cargo plane in Morocco, on the tarmac of Mohamed V airport in Casablanca, on Thursday, May 7, sparked lively controversy. What is the reality?
It was reported on social networks and by some media, including Bladi.net, that Morocco would have sent a shipment of medical aid to Algeria. Information that Rabat quickly denied.
The cargo plane of the company that made a round trip on Thursday, was transporting a cargo of Moroccan textile and clothing, an order destined for an Algerian importer, confides a source at Air Algérie.
The authorities confirmed "that no authorization has been issued for any cargo of masks destined for Algeria", specifying that "the export of masks, suspended since early March, is subject to license".
