Al-Ahly’s New Signing Yahya Attiat-allah Faces Fitness Challenge Ahead of CAF Champions League
Yahya Attiat-allah, the new recruit of Al-Ahly in the left-back position, finds himself in the spotlight, but not for the best reasons. A significant weight gain threatens his participation in the Egyptian club’s upcoming matches.
Faced with this situation, coach Marcel Koller has taken matters into his own hands. An intensive training program has been put in place for the Moroccan player, under the supervision of the club’s physical trainer. The goal is to regain the physical form necessary for the upcoming deadlines, including the CAF Champions League which starts next Saturday against Gor Mahia.
The player must redouble his efforts to lose weight and regain the form that allowed him to shine with Wydad de Casablanca and the Moroccan national team. His poor form is also the reason for his non-selection with the Atlas Lions for many months.
