The local authorities of the city of Agadir, on the proposal of the prefectural committee for epidemiological monitoring and follow-up, have decided to extend for another week the preventive measures taken to fight against the spread of Covid-19.
This decision took effect this Sunday, January 10 at 9:00 pm. It was taken based on the daily and weekly evolution of the epidemiological situation and after noting the increase in the number of cases of contamination, according to a statement from the prefectural monitoring committee.
The number of infected cases has exceeded the national threshold, at a rate of more than 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The local authorities call on the sense of responsibility and patriotic spirit of the population for strict compliance with these preventive measures for an immediate return to normal life.
