Adriana Karembeu: Her Family War Spills Over Into Morocco
Separated after eight years of marriage, Adriana Karembeu and Aram Ohanian are locked in a bitter dispute over their daughter Nina. A sprawling legal battle that now extends to Morocco, amid accusations of theft and break-ins.
The open war between the two ex-spouses is now playing out on multiple fronts: Paris, Monaco, and Morocco. Adriana Karembeu recently turned to Moroccan courts following an alarming incident that occurred in mid-April.

An individual was arrested near the Paris residence she shares with singer Marc Lavoine. Upon his arrest, the man was in possession of intimate photographs directly linked to the family dispute, as well as the key to the couple’s apartment.
The former model claims this set of keys was stolen from her in Marrakech, within the hotel establishment she co-owns with her ex-husband. The couple immediately filed a complaint. Marc Lavoine’s lawyer, Ms. Angélique Peretti, strongly denounced acts "of extreme gravity."
This Moroccan dimension adds to a fierce battle over their 7-year-old daughter, as reported by Le Parisien. Last March, Aram Ohanian filed a report with the prosecutor’s office, concerned about the child’s environment.
Sexual content and intimate conversations allegedly were discovered on the girl’s digital tablet, a device still synchronized with her mother’s account. Questioned in late April, Adriana Karembeu immediately struck back by filing four complaints.
She accuses the businessman of corrupting a minor, claiming their child was exposed to sexual images on her father’s phone in May 2025. The former model also reports threats, data theft and past violence, asserting that her ex-spouse broke one of her ribs five years ago.
"Adriana is an excellent mother," her lawyer, Ms. Nathalie Tomasini, insisted, expressing confidence in the outcome of the proceedings.

The opposing camp flatly rejects these claims. Ms. Najwa El Haïte assures that her client denies all the allegations against him, describing his ex-wife’s offensive as mere retaliation. The presumption of innocence applies to all parties involved in these various cases.
