Adil El Arbi and Loubna Khalkhali welcome baby Mikaïl
The leading couple of Belgium’s cultural scene is growing. The director of « Bad Boys for Life », Adil El Arbi and his wife, journalist Loubna Khalkhali, announced Friday the birth of their first child, a boy named Mikaïl.
« So small, so great. And now, life is truly beginning ». With these words, Adil El Arbi and Loubna Khalkhali, both of Moroccan origin, shared the happy news on social media this Friday, February 6. Although the announcement is recent, little Mikaïl was born on January 25.

The couple said that both mother and child are doing well. The birth marks a new chapter for the Belgian-Moroccan duo, who married civilly in December 2021 in Hoboken (Antwerp) before holding a grand celebration in Tangier in summer 2022, attended by notable guests including American actor Will Smith.

Adil El Arbi is pursuing an international directing career alongside Bilall Fallah, while Loubna Khalkhali is an established figure in the VRT NWS newsroom.
