The defense denounces an investigation based essentially on the complainant’s testimony. Maître Fanny Colin, the athlete’s lawyer, points out the latter’s refusals to participate in several investigative procedures, such as phone exploitation, DNA testing, or medical examinations. She adds that two psychological evaluations found an absence of post-traumatic symptoms as well as a lack of clarity, while text messages exchanged with a friend were allegedly not spontaneously provided to investigators.
