The rainfall deficit and the drop in the filling rate of dams in the Souss-Massa region have required drastic measures to save water. Thus, water cuts are planned on a punctual basis from this Saturday, October 3.
These cuts will take place every day between 10pm and 5:30am. The Régie Autonome Multiservices d’Agadir (RAMSA) in charge of water and electricity management has stressed that these cuts will be for an indefinite period.
In addition to Agadir, the cities concerned are Inzegane, Aït Melloul, Aourir, Drarga and the seaside resort of Taghazout.
