Vauréal Charity Founder Furnishes Homes for Families in Need Across France

With his association, Tous solidaires 95, Redouane Lazaar, 35, furnishes families in need, sometimes completely, in Vauréal and other parts of France. This helps restore the desire to be solidary.
"I have a double stroller, given by the mother of triplets, toys, the changing table, the car seats to be able to take the girls to the hospital where they are still followed... Financially, it saved my life. I had no more income, and my boss then closed the door without my knowledge," testifies Alice, who lives in Vauréal to Le Parisien. This woman benefited from the support of Tous solidaires 95, Redouane Lazaar’s association after becoming pregnant with twins. "I didn’t want any more children, but I learned that I was expecting twins. They arrived in November, at 5 and a half months of pregnancy, very premature. I didn’t have time to turn around. I had given everything. I no longer had a bed, nothing... I had to start over, and in double. The hospital directed me to the association," she explains. Over the months, the mother of twins has become a loyal member of the association.
"When we receive, we no longer hesitate to give. My sofa will leave so that I can set up a sofa bed. I gave the first baby beds that became too small, and I met another mother who had twins. We are a big family now. I couldn’t even imagine that this existed, a wave of solidarity like this," she recounts. Fanfan, a retiree with limited means, also contributes to the wave of solidarity in favor of families in need.
"I know that if I have something to give, I do it," she insists. My children are going to give me a new sofa. My sofa bed is leaving tonight. Redouane brings people together. Families get to know each other." On January 25, Fanfan received a microwave oven from Redouane. He went to her home to install the machine. Previously, he had graciously given her an almost new stove.
Like Alice and Fanfan, many families have benefited from the support of the one they call "Mr. Solidarity". In one year, the number of beneficiary families is around fifty. How did this idea of solidarity come about? "I fell seriously ill two years ago. Coming out of this difficult period, I no longer saw the world the same way. I wanted to take care of people," confides Redouane. The thirty-year-old does not work alone. They collaborate with several town halls and their CCAS, but also with Action Logement, a structure that helps employees to find housing. "They tell me about the people who need help," confides "Mr. Solidarity". The management of Action Logement confirms: "We have called on him several times, he is a precious person for us".
Helped by the 14,000 people who follow his association, Redouane redistributes furniture and appliances in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, Osny, in the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration, but also in the Yvelines, between Les Mureaux and Conflans. "Furniture and appliances, no one does that. We thus dress the house from A to Z with what was intended for bulky items. What I give is almost new, everything is disinfected, cleaned. And for families, it represents hundreds of euros that they can devote to other emergencies," assures the thirty-year-old. And to add: "Everyone gives. The rich, the less rich. Some offer new items to give. One person even bought a fridge for a mother."
