UFC Star Ottman Azaïtar Pushes for Championship Event in Morocco, Citing African Success

After raising the Moroccan flag at the UFC, Ottman Azaïtar is fighting for the organization of this boxing championship in Morocco.
It was during a press conference held on Tuesday, October 8 that Ottman Azaïtar announced his intentions. "We are working with Ali (Abdelaziz) to bring the UFC to Morocco," he said.
For him, "the UFC must come to Africa" because "we have shown that we can take over in the UFC and we now want the UFC to come to Africa and be welcome in Morocco".
This ambition is explained by the fact that the Azaïtar brothers are doing wonders in the UFC and that the new champions Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya are African boxers.
The Moroccan remains convinced that he will succeed in making this project a reality. "I already had a fight in Morocco, an MMA fight, we have everything," Azaïtar continued. He takes the opportunity to highlight the assets of the kingdom.
He cites the hospitals, the beautiful infrastructure, the best connections, the hotels and the tourist sites.
"Some people don’t know what’s going on in Morocco, but my brother Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo have just returned from Morocco and they have seen and they can tell you," he assured.
