TUI Fly Extends Morocco-Belgium Flights Until October 10 Amid COVID-19 Travel Restrictions

The airline Tui Fly announced on Wednesday the extension of its special flights between Morocco and Belgium until October 10. In this context of Covid-19, it had been operating them since August 27 to allow citizens of the two countries to return to their permanent place of residence and reunite with their loved ones.
Given the success of these special flights and after obtaining the agreement of the Moroccan government once again, TUI fly is extending these operations until October 10, 2020, the airline said in a press release.
In August, the airline TUI fly had received authorization from the Moroccan government to operate flights between Morocco and Belgium, the same source recalls, specifying that the airline has decided to extend its operations until October 10 in order to meet the demand. Then, it will evaluate the possibility of extending these special flights between the two countries.
The flights will connect the airports of Casablanca, Tangier, Oujda and Nador to the Brussels South Charleroi airport. They will allow Moroccan citizens currently in Europe to return to their country of residence and reunite with their loved ones. Conversely, Moroccans with permanent residence in Europe will also be able to return to Belgium on the return flight, the same source continues.
Travelers are required to prove that they have an essential reason for travel to/from Morocco. They will also have to comply with the entry conditions of the destination countries.
