Transavia France Strike Threatens Travel Plans Through January 2020

The Cabin Crew Union of the Compagnie Générale Transsaharienne (PNC/CGT), Low cost Transavia France, is launching a strike movement, from Friday, August 16, 2019, until January 5, 2020. It denounces a "deplorable" internal climate and the "takeover of Air France". This strike is likely to block the return home of many Moroccans.
Many Moroccans risk being stranded in their country of residence due to the strike announced by the Cabin Crew Union of the Compagnie Générale Transsaharienne (PNC/CGT), Low cost Transavia France. This protest movement suggests many disruptions to traffic in the coming days and months, especially with the return home of some compatriots. The strike notice, made public on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at the level of the French company specializing in low-cost flights, says a lot. It runs from August 16, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
The workers, having "had enough of being so despised from all sides" condemn their exclusion "from the negotiating table to discuss their future". Through their Union, they also point out that Transavia is entering "the perversity of the consequences" of a "disastrous" social climate, with human and material management deemed "catastrophic". From the foregoing, the Union only asks Transavia France for "humanity and respect towards all its employees", and to "guarantee both them and its passengers absolute safety on board its aircraft".
On the Transavia France management side, they are trying to reassure. It does not seem at all concerned by this notice. It reassures that it can "do its utmost to maintain its flight program".
The last strike by the PNC, led by the CGT, at Transavia, dates back to last December and lasted two days.
