Tragic Collision Claims Entire Family on Morocco’s National Road 1

The city of Tarfaya is still in shock! According to the Barlamane website, a terrible accident cost the lives of a family consisting of the father, his wife and their two children.

Eyewitnesses describe this horrific event that occurred on Thursday, August 8th in Akhenfir. In trying to reconstruct the scene, they mention a collision between the family car and a pickup truck.

The same source indicates that the bodies were transferred to the morgue for autopsy, after the usual report was made by the local authorities, as well as by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, dispatched to the scene of the tragedy.

Furthermore, in order to determine the circumstances of the accident, an investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
