Teenage Swimmer Drowns in Al Hoceima Pond, Investigation Underway

He was only 17 years old, and last Saturday, a swimming session cost him his life. It was in a pond in Oued Ghiss, at the level of the commune of Bni Abdallah, in the province of Al Hoceima.
According to the local authorities of the province of Al Hoceima, the young man, around 17 years old, drowned while he had gone swimming with some other young people of his age.
Alerted by witnesses to the tragic scene, the local authorities and the security and civil protection services went to the scene of the incident for the usual findings. The victim’s body was recovered before being transferred to the morgue.
An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this tragedy.
