Suspect Confesses to Murder After Moroccan Man’s Body Found in French Well

The alleged perpetrator of the murder of a Moroccan whose lifeless body was found in a well, located on a property in Saint-Denis de Pile in the Libournais region, on Saturday, March 20, confessed during his custody. He is currently in pre-trial detention.
The arrest of the suspect, a 42-year-old man, took place after the discovery of the lifeless body of the 32-year-old Moroccan in a well in Saint-Denis de Pile in the Libournais region, reports France info. Placed in custody on Monday, he "admitted the facts of voluntary homicide on the victim," specifies the public prosecutor’s office, adding that the two men "had a personal relationship."
On Tuesday, the man from Libourne was brought before the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office. Subsequently, a judicial investigation for voluntary homicide was opened. The alleged perpetrator is now in pre-trial detention.
The lifeless body of the Moroccan had been discovered last Saturday. His head was wrapped in a garbage bag, the torso and neck were surrounded by a rope. The Bordeaux search section and the Libourne research brigade had started an investigation that resulted in the arrest of the alleged murderer.
