Strike at French Airports Threatens Morocco-France Flight Disruptions

Airlines operating flights between Morocco and France such as Air France risk canceling many flights. And for good reason, a two-day strike on the ground at several French airports.
Certain service providers at several French airports including Paris-CDG and Orly have begun a 48-hour strike on Wednesday to demand better working conditions and salary increases, new hires to ease schedules, as well as a relaxation of certification to be a security agent, reports Air Journal. "Disruptions are to be expected, including longer security screening times before boarding," Air France said in a statement, urging its customers to check the Paris Airports or their departure airport website for more information.
"To limit the inconvenience, we encourage you to check in online, anticipate your arrival at the airport and go to the boarding lounge as soon as your bags are dropped off. You can also check your hand luggage into the hold free of charge to facilitate your security check. Our teams at the airport and in our customer relations centers are mobilizing and doing everything they can to support you," the French national airline specifies. For its part, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) has asked airlines to "reduce their flight schedule (on Thursday, June 9) departing from and arriving at Paris-CDG". Flights will therefore be canceled.
