Spanish Foreign Minister to Visit Morocco, Bolstering Bilateral Ties

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares will make a visit to Morocco on April 1st. Another step in strengthening relations between Rabat and Madrid.
Far from being an April Fool’s joke, this visit to Rabat by the Spanish Foreign Minister is part of the strengthening of bilateral relations between Morocco and Spain. Speaking before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies, José Manuel Albares stated that he will have talks with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita.
It will be a question of embarking on the preparation of the "new roadmap" for the strengthening of bilateral relations in all areas, the revitalization of the working groups and the consolidation of cooperation in all fields.
The decision of José Manuel Albares to travel to Morocco comes a few days after Spain’s change of position on the Sahara issue. A decision welcomed everywhere in the world and which allows the relations between the two countries to start on new bases.
