Spain's Popular Party Backs King's Call for Renewed Ties with Morocco

The Popular Party (PP) welcomes the remarks made on Monday by King Felipe VI, who expressed Spain’s willingness to "walk together" and "start a new relationship" with Morocco.

The PP has always defended and advocated the resumption of relations with Morocco, said PP senator from Melilla, Sofia Acedo, stressing the need for Spain to maintain good relations with Morocco, particularly for Ceuta and Melilla which are border cities with the kingdom.
