Designated candidate of the Socialist Party (PS), the Franco-Moroccan Lamia El Aaraje won Sunday, June 6, the partial legislative elections in the 15th constituency of Paris. Elections marked by a high abstention rate.
Lamia El Aaraje is now elected PS deputy. With 56.56% of the votes cast in the partial legislative elections, the Franco-Moroccan emerged victorious. According to figures provided by the parties, she won the last socialist seat in the capital against Danielle Simonnet (La France insoumise, LFI), who obtained 43.44%.
