Sister of Nancy Shooting Victim Recounts Tragic Murder in Shocking Testimony

Khaled Arbouze had been coldly shot dead on April 30, 2016 in the Place de la Croix-de-Bourgogne in Nancy. His sister, a trainer for job seekers, gives a horrific testimony about this crime that has left her with a lasting memory.
"They shot my brother many times. All that for a trivial altercation on a soccer field. I don’t know what got into them. It’s disproportionate. It’s violent. I don’t understand..." More than three years after the murder of Khaled Arbouze, his sister is still in a state of shock.
She remembers that day as if it were yesterday. "That morning, I received many calls from family and friends telling me he was dead. I didn’t believe it. Because I’m the kind of person who can only believe what I see. So I went to the morgue. A cousin then told me that Khaled was still at the Place de la Croix-de-Bourgogne. I went there. A policeman came to see me and told me that the victim was most likely my brother. He showed a photo of the body to my cousin who confirmed it," she recounts to L’Est républicain.
Even though she admits to holding a lot of resentment towards the ten people referred to the assize court in this case, she still believes that there has been enough hatred. "We just want to understand how we got there. It was still a commando operation."
