Sevilla’s Munir El Haddadi Seeks La Liga Transfer Amid Premier League Interest
Moroccan international Munir El Haddadi is close to leaving Sevilla FC this summer, having arrived there in January 2019. While several English, Italian and Turkish clubs are interested in his talent, the Moroccan international prefers another club in La Liga.
The 25-year-old striker has played very little this season, because he was not in the plans of coach Julen Lopetegui. According to the Spanish media, this situation would remain unchanged next season, forcing the player to look for another club.
Estadio Deportivo reports that Southampton (who finished 15th in the Premier League), Turkish and Italian clubs want to secure his services, but Munir favors local options and is in discussion with Alavés and Getafe.
The Atlas Lion had known this first club on the occasion of a loan during the 2017-2018 season. Bought for only 1 million euros, the Andalusian club is now demanding 10 million.
