Sevilla FC Considers Selling Star Striker Youssef En-Nesyri Amid Financial Pressures
Rumors are becoming more and more insistent about the departure this summer of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla FC. Author of a sensational season at Sevilla, the Atlas Lion has gained a lot of value on the transfer market.
While the club’s management had categorically refused to let go of Youssef En-Nesyri, the Spanish club would be seriously considering parting with the player to replenish its coffers, which are in poor shape like many football clubs, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Moroccan player is being tracked by many European giants due to his performances and his great potential. In 50 games this season, the Atlas Lion has scored 24 goals. The Sevilla striker is a player whose talent attracts many suitors. The English club West Ham in January had wanted to offer him up to 40 million euros. However, the Andalusian club is counting on offers starting from 50 million euros.
For now, En-Nesyri says he is happy at Sevilla and has shown no intention of leaving the club. However, if a significant offer comes from the Premier League, Sevilla has not ruled out cashing it in this summer, in order to allow the Moroccan player to spread his wings elsewhere and gain new experiences.
