Search Intensifies for Missing 12-Year-Old Boy in Antwerp Province

Child Focus, the police and the public prosecutor’s office have issued a search notice to find Ilias Chahdi, a 12-year-old boy from Mortsel, in the province of Antwerp, who has gone missing. His parents have not heard from him since Thursday.
Residing in Vredebaan, the teenager went to Mortsel on Thursday, September 17, around 8:10 a.m. on a blue-gray mountain bike with a beige saddle, reports Belga. He was wearing beige pants, white sneakers, and a bike helmet on his head.
He was wearing a navy blue raincoat with two horizontal ochre stripes on the front and a white stripe between the two, an Eastpack backpack with a blue and black checkered pattern, and metallic-colored glasses. Little Ilias is 1.62 m tall. The teenager has curly brown hair.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have encountered him to contact them.
