Search Continues for Moroccan Truck Driver After Vehicle Plunges into Rhône River

The gendarmes are actively and desperately searching for the body of a Moroccan who was driving a 38-ton truck that overturned into the Rhône last Friday.
The accident occurred on the Aramon (Gard) bridge in the morning on Friday. While driving a truck, a Moroccan driver was the victim of a road accident. The 38-ton vehicle fell into the Rhône. The heavy goods vehicle drifted under the Aramon bridge before getting stuck, more than ten meters deep, reports La Provence. The causes of the accident are, for the moment, unknown.
This accident mobilized the divers and the firefighters. A significant device was put in place: a helicopter with a thermal camera, boats, etc. The divers managed to tow the wreckage. But the driver of the truck is still untraceable. On the ground, the gendarmes are still active to find him. The current and the lack of visibility complicate the work of the rescue services.
