Saudi Airlines Launches Direct Flights Between Marrakech and Jeddah

The airline Saudi Airlines has just launched a new connection to Marrakech. The ochre city is now connected to Jeddah.
The inaugural flight took place yesterday, Thursday, on board a Boeing (B787-9) Dreamliner carrying 274 passengers, the company said in a press release, which specifies that this new line will serve Marrakech from Jeddah at a rate of three frequencies per week (Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday).
For the general manager of the Saudi company in Morocco, Mohammed Saâd Al Semrani, the inauguration of this direct line comes to expand the network of regular flights operated by the Saudi company to the kingdom, adding that this air line will help strengthen air traffic between the two brotherly countries, as well as offer an additional choice to Moroccan pilgrims.
The manager also gave some encouraging figures for his company. Last year, Saudi Airlines transported some 400,000 passengers to and from Morocco and these figures should grow significantly with the launch of this new flight to Marrakech airport.
It should be noted that Saudi Airlines operates direct and regular flights to Morocco, with 19 weekly flights, in addition to additional flights dedicated to pilgrims.
