The Saharan sand cloud is back in France. After the southwest of the country, the particles will reach the southern half between Tuesday and especially Wednesday where "the sand deposits will be visible, more difficult towards the north," reports Futura. It is likely that cars will be soiled on Wednesday due to sandy rains and the snowy mountains of the Pyrenees, the Massif Central. As for the Alps and the sky, they will probably be adorned with a slight orange hue. This phenomenon will continue until the end of the week.
In 2022, sand clouds caused by the recurrence of southerly flows had caused pollution peaks in France, particularly in Lorraine and Franche-Comté, in the Lyon region, etc.
