RTL Anchor Salima Belabbas Returns to Host Two Prime-Time Shows

Removed from the presentation of the 7pm news on RTL in January, Salima Belabbas is making a comeback as the host of two flagship shows on the private channel.
Salima Belabbas is starting a new adventure at RTL. After being ousted in mid-January from the 7pm news, the young woman of Moroccan origin is making a spectacular return to the channel, reports La Libre. Starting August 29, Salima will be the new host of the "Exclusif" magazine, replacing Tatiana Silva who has joined the RTBF. A week later, she will begin co-hosting the show "C’est pas tous les jours dimanche" with Christophe Deborsu.
"When you’re a journalist and you present the news, you’re sometimes a bit frustrated, because you don’t go in-depth into the subjects, while in ’Exclusif’, they are more in-depth subjects, with studio interviews after the report. With ’C’est pas tous les jours dimanche’, I find the adrenaline of live broadcasting that I’ve missed these last eight months," the journalist confided in an interview with Ciné Télé Revue.
