Now that the match has taken place, the focus shifts to return flights. Royal Air Maroc has planned several rotations from Monterrey to Casablanca to handle the return of Moroccan supporters present in Mexico.

A first return flight was scheduled to depart Monterrey on June 30 at 11 a.m., with arrival in Casablanca on July 1 at 4:15 a.m. A second flight was scheduled for the same day at 12 p.m., for arrival in Morocco the following day at 5:15 a.m.

Two additional return flights are also planned for July 1 and 2, still departing Monterrey at 12 p.m., with arrival in Casablanca the following day at 5:15 a.m. All these flights are operated by Boeing 787-9, a long-haul aircraft capable of directly ensuring this exceptional connection between Morocco and northern Mexico.

This operation demonstrates the logistical scale that now accompanies the major events of the Atlas Lions. Since Morocco’s historic run at the 2022 World Cup, supporter travel has become a major issue in itself, especially when matches are played far from Morocco and Europe.
