Royal Air Maroc Expands Domestic Routes as Flight Operations Gradually Resume

The Royal Air Maroc airline is working for a return to normal of its activities. Already, five new routes from Casablanca have been restored, to which are added five weekly frequencies to Dakhla and Laâyoune and four to Agadir.

The resumption of domestic flights by Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is well underway. In a press release, the airline announced new offers for domestic routes as of July 6, specifying that its flight schedule now includes nine regular routes, including four routes to and from Casablanca. These are Tétouan, Al Hoceïma and Ouarzazate, with 2 frequencies per week, Errachidia, with 3 frequencies per week, and the route connecting Tétouan to Al Hoceïma with 2 frequencies per week.

Also, "the Casablanca-Dakhla and Casablanca-Laâyoune routes will increase from 3 to 5 weekly frequencies and the Casablanca-Agadir route from 3 to 4 weekly frequencies," adds the press release, which specifies that bookings on flights are made online on the RAM website or through its call centers and commercial agencies, or through the network of travel agencies.

According to a source within the company, the fares offered, "subsidized by the regions and RAM, are reasonable and competitive" and accessible to all those who wish to travel domestically.

In addition, the current flight program will evolve according to demand. "For example, the Dakhla line, which is very popular, will resume its normal pace with 7 daily round trips per week as of July 13." The same goes for the Laâyoune line in the coming days.
