H&M’s Resort 2025 Collection Captures Marrakech’s Vibrant Spirit and Desert Beauty

The Swedish brand H&M has drawn inspiration from Marrakech, its lively streets, color palette, and surrounding desert landscapes for its Resort 2025 capsule collection.
"For the H&M Studio Resort capsule collection, we were inspired by the striking landscapes of Marrakech and the serene beauty of the surrounding desert," explains Kathrin Deutsch, collection designer at H&M Studio. She adds: "We wanted to reflect this attention to detail and love of craftsmanship through the various ornaments and embroideries, as well as the shapes of necklines and hems. The result is both dreamlike, bold, and modern."
This new collection from H&M consists of pieces such as light summer dresses, caftans, and knitwear that "sit alongside bold and minimalist silhouettes, made in tailoring and denim," the brand details. Several colors have been combined: soothing terracotta tones, sandy beiges, more vibrant blues, as well as black and bright white. What about the materials used? The brand opts for linen, cotton, and muslin with a Moroccan touch in the prints.
