Ramadan Begins in Morocco with Cold Temperatures and Widespread Rain

Showers and rather cold temperatures. This is the weather forecast for the 1st day of Ramadan with rain, locally heavy thunderstorms on the Tangier region, the Mediterranean, the Rif, the Atlas, the northern plains, the north of the Oriental region and possible snow flurries on the High Atlas peaks.
In the morning, temperatures should drop. They range between 1 and 7 degrees on the Atlas, 7 and 12 degrees on the Rif, the Oriental, the southeastern slopes and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, 8 and 14 degrees on the North and Center and 14 and 19 degrees elsewhere on the North, Center, Southeast and South.
In the afternoon, it will be between 7 and 12 degrees on the Atlas and the Rif, 12 and 17 degrees on the Oriental, the Mediterranean, the Saiss and the interior plains, 18 and 23 degrees on the Souss, the coasts and the Atlantic plains, 23 and 28 degrees on the southeastern slopes and the north of the southern provinces and between 28 and 33 degrees on the far south and southeast.
It should be noted that yesterday, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) had issued a weather alert for Friday and Saturday.
