Ramadan 2020 in France: Fasting Dates Set for April 24 to May 23

Every year, the first and last day of Ramadan are often the subject of lively questions, even controversies. The month of Ramadan begins 11 days earlier than the previous year, in relation to the Gregorian calendar which is in use in France.
Calculations are already being made and this data is recorded in advance and made available to the public, says Saphirnews. It is therefore scientifically possible to know the beginning of each lunar month, regardless of the state of the sky, for the coming years.
The unified Muslim calendar, based on calculations, announces a 30-day fasting month. The beginning of the month of Ramadan 1441 is set for Friday, April 24, 2020. Its end is set for Saturday, May 23, 2020.
Furthermore, the start and end dates of fasting in France will be announced by the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM), during the traditional Nights of Doubt, at the Great Mosque of Paris.
