Radio Nova Drops Host Yassine Belattar Amid Legal Troubles, Death Threat Allegations

In parallel with his legal problems (he is still under judicial supervision), Yassine Belattar has been dropped by his station, Radio Nova. The prosecutions against him concern accusations of "death threats" and "moral harassment".
"Les 30 Glorieuses", the daily show hosted by Yassine Belattar since 2016 will now be presented by Thomas Barbazan, his co-host, according to a Radio Nova press release. The latter, according to the same source, has been "removed from the airwaves".
The Franco-Moroccan comedian was indicted on Thursday, March 28 for "death threats" and "moral harassment" against people in the media and entertainment industry.
Two days in custody preceded his release, but he remains under judicial supervision and is prohibited from contacting those who filed a complaint against him, including Bruno Gaccio, former writer of the Guignols de l’info.
The investigation against him is ongoing but his lawyer, Safya Akkori, claims that her client denies the harassment charges against him and is willing to admit to having made certain threats "in a context of tensions between people in the entertainment world".
