Prince Harry and Meghan to Visit Morocco: Royal Couple's 3-Day Charity Tour Revealed

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will soon embark on a 3-day visit to Morocco starting February 23. The program of the visit has just been revealed by specialized British media. It will mainly be charitable.

The couple will be welcomed at Casablanca airport on the evening of February 23 by the British ambassador to Morocco, Thomas Reilly, and his wife. The Duke of Sussex will then inspect a guard of honor at the airport.

On February 24, the couple will go to Asni, in the Atlas, where they will visit the premises of the "Education for All" association. According to the Royal Central website: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet some of the people housed in the boarding schools as well as their teachers, while Meghan will take part in a henna ceremony. From there, the couple will go to the Lycée Qualifiant Grand Atlas d’Asni to learn more about the educational offer in the region".

The website tells us that on Sunday evening, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend a reception at the official residence of the British ambassador. They will meet "young entrepreneurs, influential women in Moroccan society and disabled athletes".

On the third and final day of this visit, the couple will immerse themselves in Rabat in the activities of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports and, mainly, according to Royal Central: "its ongoing program of assistance to children with special needs", equestrian care activities, among others. According to Royal Central: "Meghan and Harry will attend an equestrian demonstration and hear from children and teachers about grooming and caring for horses".

Then it will be a visit to the Villa des Ambassadeurs, in the capital, where the royal couple will see "how traditional Moroccan cuisine is used to help disabled children develop new skills". This is a program and, moreover, Megan and Harry will meet young beneficiaries and attend a cooking demonstration.

After that, it’s off to the Andalusian Gardens of Rabat to meet young social entrepreneurs and learn more about "the work dedicated to youth empowerment". Moroccan art and crafts will also be on the agenda during this same visit.
