Police Officers Injured as Van Overturns During Curfew Enforcement in Marrakech

Mobilized to enforce the curfew, two police officers in a service vehicle were seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred in Marrakech on the night of Tuesday, May 5.
According to the site Akhbarona, the driver lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a collision with a high-speed light car.
It all happened very quickly for the police officer who was unable to prevent the van from overturning. Just after the collision, passersby rushed to the scene to pull the two trapped agents out of the vehicle.
The two agents were hospitalized and their vital prognosis is not compromised. An investigation has been opened by the Marrakech police prefecture.
