Paris Airport Strike Disrupts Flights to Morocco, Other Destinations

The strike of airport personnel at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is forcing airlines to cancel one in five flights operated to several destinations including Morocco from France.
Following the directives of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), several airlines have reduced their flight schedule to and from Paris-CDG from 7am to 2pm, due to the strike of airport personnel demanding salary increases, reports Air Journal. This Saturday marks the third day of this strike action. Air France has therefore reduced its flight schedule to/from Paris-CDG. It plans to operate "all its long-haul flights, nearly 90% of its short and medium-haul flights" on Saturday.
The French airline warns, however, that last-minute delays and cancellations cannot be ruled out. It also specified that customers affected by canceled flights will be notified, by SMS and email, at the latest the day before their trip. It also invites travelers to limit hand luggage, to check it in for free in the hold to save time and streamline their journey through the airport.
