NASA Launches Mars Mission ’Perseverance’ with Moroccan Scientist on Team

The American Space Agency (NASA) proceeded, on Thursday, to the launch of its mission called "Perseverance". A new exploration to the planet Mars, in which the Moroccan scientist Kamal Oudrhiri is participating.
The "Perseverance" mission aims, among other things, to "detect traces of ancient life on the red planet and collect rock and soil samples to study the climate and geology".
The Moroccan scientist, over the past 20 years, has held important positions within NASA, and has participated in many explorations including: The Mars Exploration Rovers (MER), the international Cassini mission to Saturn, the GRAIL mission, the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), the Juno Jupiter mission, the New Horizons mission to Pluto and recently the InSight mission on Mars and MarCO, the very first interplanetary CubeSat mission.
