Muslim Woman Alleges Discrimination and Mistreatment by Hospital Staff

While she went to a hospital to be examined, a veiled woman undergoes humiliations. She testifies.
"I haven’t been feeling well for several days. This morning (January 21), it really wasn’t going well at all, so I decided to go to the emergency room in the evening and I explained to the doctor what I had. He was really unpleasant, he looked down on me when he spoke to me and trivialized everything I told him," says the young woman.
She thought she had heard the worst. "Then he tells me, take off that thing on your head! So I take off my veil. Then he brushes my hair and says to me: ’That’s good, you have nothing!’ Take a Doliprane and you’ll be fine," she continues.
Dissatisfied with this consultation, she asks the nurses if she can see another doctor because "it went very badly with this one and he refuses to examine her." "Listen, no doctor wants to see you. It’s better for you to go elsewhere," a nurse tells her after she has spent an hour in the waiting room.
