Mother Who Lost Two Daughters in Fatal Crash Shares Heartbreaking Story on French TV

The "Audrey & Co" show on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 on LCI hosted Nadia Karmel, the mother who lost her two daughters in a road accident that occurred in April 2018. Her book entitled "They loved each other very, very much...", which has just been published, takes stock of this tragic event.
Viewers had to discover a strong woman but still under the shock of the pain, a year after this tragedy. This mother, with a quiver of emotion in her voice, recounted this accident in which she lost her two daughters.
Indeed, on April 3, 2018, a sedan collided at full speed with Nadia Karmel’s car in which she was traveling with her two daughters, Lila and Adelaide, and her youngest, Isaac. Her two daughters died shortly after the tragedy.
The reckless driver responsible for the tragedy was known for his propensity to drive too fast and had already been penalized by two license withdrawals, before the accident.
Even today, although Nadia is haunted by the memory of her daughters whom she will never see again, she tries to cling to life and to lead a useful fight: to fight against "road violence", an offense that unfortunately does not yet exist.
The other aspect of this very touching testimony is that after a year and a half, she has still not received apologies from the careless driver, a 46-year-old business manager, the passenger who was with him or the driver’s wife.
"We never had [...]. We were brought into the same room and we never had a word or an apology or condolences at all, never," Nadia laments.
According to Lci.fr, Nadia’s appearance on the "Audrey & Co" set is even more meaningful, especially when we know that it comes the day after the publication of the poor road safety figures for August 2019, with a 17.9% increase in deaths compared to August 2018.
