Morocco’s Tendrara Gas Field Enters Production as Sound Energy Advances Exploration

Sound Energy, the British company dedicated to gas services in Morocco, announces in a press release that the equipment necessary for the implementation of the second phase of its program has arrived on the production site.
In a previous press release, Sound Energy had reported the discovery of natural gas in the TE-10 well, in the Tendrara exploration area, estimated at several million cubic feet. The company had also scheduled a production flow stimulation test by interval, through a drilling-free insertion process.
According to Sound Energy, the second phase of the program, which includes the installation work of the spiral casing as well as the stimulation and non-stimulation production flow tests at the reservoir level, will soon be implemented. The arrival of the necessary equipment will allow the company to start the exploration work of the TE-10 well.
It should be recalled that the Sound Energy company has a drilling permit covering an area of 14,500 km2 in the greater Tendrara region, granted in October 2018 for a period of eight years. The TE-10 well is part of a three-well exploration program in the region.
