Morocco Reports 74 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Hardest Hit

74 people died from Covid-19 in Morocco in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health. Since last March, 5,256 deaths have been recorded in the Kingdom.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region accounts for 23 deaths, all in Casablanca. They are followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi with 8 deaths each. While Tétouan announces 2 deaths against 2 in Larache, 2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Ouezzane and 1 in Tanger-Assilah, Marrakech records 5 deaths against 2 in Safi and 1 in Chichaoua.
Sous-Massa and Béni Mellal-Khénifra each recorded 7 deaths. If Taroudant announces 3 deaths against 2 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 2 in Tiznit, Khouribga reports 2 deaths as well as Béni Mellal and Fquih Ben Salah. In the Fès-Meknès region, there are also 7 deaths, including 4 in Fès, 1 in Meknès, 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Taounate.
In Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 patients died from the coronavirus with 3 deaths in Salé, 1 in Kénitra, 1 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Rabat. In the Oriental region, 6 people also succumbed to Covid-19, including 4 in Guercif, 1 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Nador. As for Darâa-Tafilalet and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, they recorded 1 death in Ouarzazate and Laâyoune respectively.
