Morocco Repatriates 150 Stranded Citizens from France Amid Ongoing Global Return Efforts

Moroccans stranded abroad continue to set foot on Moroccan soil. 150 of them were repatriated on Wednesday from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to Marrakech.
This repatriation operation of Moroccans from the hexagon carried out by a Royal Air Maroc flight took into account holders of short-stay visas, vulnerable people, including the sick, the elderly, suffering from chronic diseases or having undergone surgery. It comes after the repatriations last week from Ceuta, Melilla, Turkey, Algeria, Japan, Mauritania, etc.
To recall, the first phase of the operation to repatriate Moroccans stranded in France began on June 22 with hundreds of people who have already returned to Morocco from several cities in the Hexagon, notably Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Bordeaux.
In addition, around thirty flights were chartered between June 21 and 27 to repatriate 4,644 Moroccans stranded in 17 countries, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
