Morocco Refutes Claims of Sending Medical Aid to Algeria Amid Border Tensions

Morocco has denied the information relayed on social networks and by certain media, including Bladi.net, that the kingdom had sent a cargo of medical aid to Algeria.
A responsible source told Hespress that the information is false and erroneous. In plain terms, Morocco has not sent any cargo of medical aid to Algeria, containing medical masks manufactured in the kingdom and other equipment.
The same source explains that Morocco has closed its airspace, which was limited to commercial flights for passenger transport. But this does not concern cargo planes, as these aircraft continue to enter Moroccan territory, despite the closure of the border.
It also stated that an Algerian Airlines plane carried out a freight operation from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca to Algeria, while Morocco only sends aid to a specific country by a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plane.
