Morocco Receives Vast Digital Archive of Tribal History from France

The Center for Diplomatic Archives of France has decided to return to Morocco an important digital collection on Moroccan tribes. The handover ceremony will be held this Wednesday, September 28 at the Archives of Morocco in Rabat, in the presence of many Moroccan and French personalities.
According to a press release published by the Archives of Morocco, it is 1,646 files and records, or 10 linear meters of documents or 62,203 images. "This collection, which covers the period of the Protectorate in Morocco, was produced by various departments of the General Residence, including the Interior Department."
"This wealth of information that will now be made available to them will certainly delight researchers from several academic disciplines," it concludes.
