Morocco’s Rabat Region to Launch Six New Start-Up Incubators and Investment Fund

Six start-up incubators will be set up in the next few days in the Rabat-Salé-Témara region to support the creation of businesses.
This was announced this week by the regional council at the end of the last extraordinary session devoted to the promotion of investment and support for businesses.
The facilities will be created in Salé, Témara, Kénitra, Khémisset, Sidi Slimane and Sidi Kacem, it was specified.
In addition, the council also gave its approval for the establishment of an investment fund totaling 1.250 billion DH spread over 5 years with an average of 250 million DH per year.
Two other agreements were also signed, the first concerning the partnership between the region, the wilaya and the CRI, for the promotion of investment and the second, touching on the development and construction of the city of trades in Salé.
