Morocco Mandates Vaccine Passes for Court Access Starting December 20

The government has decided to make the presentation of proof of vaccination a condition for access to the courts, starting from December 20.
In a joint note addressed to magistrates and civil servants, the Ministry of Justice, the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Supreme Council of the Judiciary have called on litigants and all actors in the judicial chain to compulsorily obtain a vaccine pass before accessing the courts.
"We have the honor to ask you to urge the judges and employees working in the spheres of influence of your courts to comply with the requirements of the government decision and to present their vaccine pass, whenever it is requested of them," the circular states.
This decision comes within the framework of preserving the achievements of the management of Covid-19 in Morocco, particularly with the appearance of the new Omicron variant, the same document points out.
