Morocco Leads Maghreb Investment in France, Creating 145 Jobs in 2018

Morocco was in 2018 the leading Maghreb investor in France, with 8 investment projects and 145 jobs created.
France represents the main attraction pole for Maghreb investors, reports the Business France agency, in its 2018 assessment of international investments in France, cited by Hespress. A portfolio of 500 French companies are under the supervision of a Maghreb investor, and more than 5,700 jobs were created during the year 2018, according to the same source, which indicates that Maghreb investments recorded a 61% increase compared to the 2017 fiscal year.
With its 8 investment projects and 145 jobs created in the Hexagon in 2018, Morocco ranks first ahead of Tunisia, 8 projects and 113 jobs, and Algeria, in last position, with only 2 projects and 40 jobs created.
Moroccan investors are also more dynamic in the sectors of Consulting, Engineering and operational services to companies (Outsourcia Group), banking and insurance (BMCE Euroservices, BBI, BOA), and Software and IT services, Financial, banking and insurance services (HPS, Acpqualife).
