Morocco knows its opponent for the final, Saudi Arabia eliminated
The final bracket is complete. After the demonstration of the Atlas Lions against the United Arab Emirates, it is Jordan who will stand in their way for the title, after creating the sensation by eliminating the Saudi favorite.
It will be an unprecedented duel for the crown. Tarik Sektioui’s men will face the Jordanian "Nashama" in the final of the Arab Cup in Qatar. A decisive match that will pit the tournament’s best attack against the surprise team of this edition.
Jordan struck a big blow in the evening by eliminating Saudi Arabia. At the end of a closed and tactical match, the Jordanians managed to win by the smallest of margins (1-0), sending the Saudis home against all odds.
For their part, the Moroccans are arriving with full confidence. A few hours earlier, they left no chance to the United Arab Emirates (3-0), sealing the deal thanks to ruthless efficiency in the second half.
Carried by an explosive end to the game and a third goal from Abderrazak Hamdallah, the Atlas Lions have confirmed their status as the big favorite. They will now have to get rid of a Jordanian team, coached by Moroccan Jamal Sellami, who has just proven his ability to bring down the giants.
