Morocco has its new prodigy: Gessime Yassine in Barcelona’s sights
FC Barcelona is closely following Moroccan winger Gessime Yassine, the revelation of the last U20 World Cup. Although no official offer has been made, the player’s agent confirms the growing interest of the Catalan club for the young talent from Strasbourg.
Hervé Cros, the agent of the 20-year-old Moroccan international, revealed that the monitoring by the Blaugrana club is very real. "Barça’s interest in recruiting Yassine is concrete, but so far there is no official offer. We are waiting for further developments," he said to the media WinWin All Sports.
Recently transferred to Strasbourg during the winter transfer window, Gessime Yassine has established himself as one of the most promising talents in world football. His versatility on the wings and his remarkable performances during the international tournament have increased his value among European recruiters.
The winger played a decisive role in Morocco’s historic triumph at the U20 World Cup. This world title has acted as an accelerator for his career, placing the player in the spotlight of the continent’s biggest clubs, including FC Barcelona.
The next summer transfer window promises to be decisive for the future of the young prodigy. While the player’s entourage remains attentive, the Catalan club continues to monitor his progress before deciding on a possible offensive to secure his services.
