Morocco Faces Defending Champions France in Pétanque Masters Final Four

Vice-world champion, the Moroccan team will face France next Tuesday in Marseille, during the Final Four of the 2019 Masters of Pétanque.
Morocco is sharpening its weapons for the Final Four of the 2019 Masters of Pétanque. It will face the defending champion French team on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, on the Îles-du-Frioul in Marseille, during the Final Four that will determine the winner of this edition, reports Hespress.com.
Before this shock match between the defending champion and the vice-champion, a first semi-final will oppose the Rocher team, which finished at the top of the overall standings, to the Puccinell team, which includes two defending champions, Jean-Michel Puccinelli and Maison Durk.
Morocco, for its first participation in the Masters of Pétanque, had created the upset by qualifying for the final during the 7th and last stage on August 8 in Montluçon (Allier), in central France.
Coached by the living Moroccan legend, Hafid Alaoui (three-time World Champion in triples in the 1990s), the Atlas Lions will be the center of attention during the 21st summer pétanque saga. The Moroccan team is composed of Abdessamad El Mankari (midfielder) from the CATP-Tiflet club, Khalid Benar (midfielder) from the ASMB-Rabat club, Hodayfa Bouchgour (midfielder) from the ACMPT-Tan-Tan club and Mohamed Ajouad (pointer) from the S.M-Rabat club.
