Morocco Extends Free COVID-19 Vaccines to Foreign Residents, French Expats Express Gratitude

Foreign residents, particularly the French, are also participating in the national Covid-19 vaccination campaign. In accordance with the sovereign’s instructions, they have been vaccinated free of charge against Covid-19 and "warmly thank the king".
In a press release, the president, the Committee and the members of the Association of French People of Rabat (AFR) have "warmly thanked the king Mohammed VI, whose generosity has allowed French nationals in Morocco to be vaccinated on an equal footing with his people".
They also saluted Morocco’s feat in ensuring that this campaign is progressing under good conditions. "Our gratitude and our wishes for good health go to the King, the Crown Prince and the entire Royal Family," the association added.
Launched on January 29, 2021, the national Covid-19 vaccination campaign has already allowed the kingdom to vaccinate to date more than 3.7 million Moroccans for the first dose and 360,689 people for the second dose.
